Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to support our shop and job sites with timely pick-up and delivery of equipment and materials.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, verify items against PO and Job numbers, and assist with warehouse duties as needed. CDL A license is optional; DOT medical card required; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; standard hours 6:30 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Work hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (additional hours when necessary).
• Hold a valid CDL A driver's license (Optional).
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean MVR.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery vehicle is in safe operating condition by completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Verify accuracy of all equipment picked up or delivered using PO and Job Number.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the cab and outside of vehicle; ensure gates and liftgate are secure to the vehicle; wash vehicle as necessary.
• When not in use, all straps and blocking materials & tools are to be safely stowed in their proper place.
• Comply with all safe driving rules and traffic laws.
• Ensure materials on the truck are secure, properly strapped and blocked.
• Ensure all paperwork is in vehicle when handling hazardous material.
• Performs material, tools and equipment pickup from suppliers for delivery to shop or jobsite.
• End of the day: discard packaging properly and turn in receipts.
• Wear DeBra-Kuempel uniform (PPE) with badges/ID.
• Assist with warehouse duties and odd jobs around office area.
• Experience with towing trailers is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience operating a forklift (if no experience, training will be provided).

Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
