What does Nuclear Pharmacy contribute to Cardinal Health?

Nuclear Pharmacy provides radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under strict regulations. It also offers consultation to physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and effective use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contribute to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with customer demands and safety standards. Tasks include preparing doses for shipment, loading and unloading containers, and maintaining safety standards in accordance with DOT regulations.

Shifts/Schedules

Two options available:

• Schedule 1: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 3:00 am - 11:00 am. Flexibility required for shifts starting between 4:00 am and 8:00 am.
• Schedule 2: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Flexibility required for shifts starting between 3:00 am and 8:00 am.

Candidates must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts using a non-CDL company vehicle
• Package, test, and load/unload radiopharmaceuticals for shipment
• Use a handheld device for order accuracy and navigation
• Process returned packages
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor repairs
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; work experience preferred
• Minimum age 18 with a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Prior delivery experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• Ability to sit, stand, and operate a vehicle for extended periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility for various working hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Proficient with computers and tablets

• Complete routine tasks using acquired knowledge and skills

• Maintain necessary licenses, training, and certifications
• Work within standard procedures, resolving some problems independently
• Follow quality guidelines and work under moderate supervision
• Review work outputs regularly and escalate complex issues

Pay rate: $18.50 per hour
