Job summary

Parker Oil & Propane is seeking a safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver fuel and propane to homes, farms, and businesses from our Burkeville, VA plant. You will load/unload, complete delivery tickets, and work with dispatch to run efficient routes while maintaining accurate records.

This full-time role requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements, medical certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Hazmat & Airbrake endorsements is required.
• Current medical certification and excellent driving record are required.
• CTEP/Bobtail certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel and propane to homes, farms, and businesses.
• Load/unload product, connect hoses, and complete delivery tickets.
• Maintain delivery records in fuel management system (ADD Systems).
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Parker professionally.
• Support plant operations in off-season and participate in on-call rotations.

What You’ll Do

• Safely deliver fuel and propane to homes, farms, and businesses
• Load/unload product, connect hoses, and complete accurate delivery tickets
• Work with dispatch to run efficient routes and provide feedback on obstacles
• Maintain delivery records in our fuel management system (ADD Systems)
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Parker with professionalism
• Support plant operations in the off-season (April–September)
• Participate on-call rotations (weeknights/weekends as scheduled)

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Hazmat & Airbrake Endorsement
• CTEP/Bobtail certified (or willing to obtain)
• Current medical certification & excellent driving record
• Ability to lift 75 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and safely operate equipment
• Strong work ethic and dependability — especially during our busy season (Oct–Apr)
