Job Description

1. Transports materials over designated routes, ensuring safe operation of vehicles.
2. Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries.
3. Ensures that loaded materials match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and are secured for transport.
4. Unloads materials at delivery locations, verifying correctness based on the Ship Ticket.
5. Performs daily vehicle inspections for maintenance and safety.
6. Handles warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery, maintaining orderliness.

Additional Requirements

This position is safety-sensitive. Candidates must undergo pre-employment drug testing, which screens for various substances according to federal regulations. Medical marijuana use is not recognized as valid for testing positive for THC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS systems.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving history.
• Clean motor vehicle record with no recent violations exceeding specified limits.
• At least one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more within the last 36 months.
• Strong reading, writing, calculation, data entry, reasoning, and analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

Must meet FMCSA motor vehicle operation qualifications. Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and handling objects up to 50 pounds are required. Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds may be necessary. Exposure to various weather and environmental conditions is expected.
