Job summary

Infusion Solutions Inc is seeking a flexible part-time delivery driver to join our locally owned home infusion team. You will pick up medications, supplies, and equipment from the warehouse and deliver them to patients in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work a variable schedule (3–8 hour shifts, Saturday through Tuesday), and maintain HIPAA privacy and accurate documentation in our EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preference for some college coursework in related field.
• Experience in delivery/logistics or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

We are a locally owned home infusion company seeking a flexible part-time delivery driver with strong skills to join our team. We are looking for a highly professional driver that is reliable, flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and available to work a variable schedule: typically 3 to 8 hour shifts up to 4 days per week with ability to flex up.Shift ExpectationsWe expect the driver to:Be available 9am-8pm (scheduled for 3 to 8 hour shifts within that time period)Be available Saturday through TuesdayBe aware that they may be called off from the shift if no additional deliveries are needed for the day.Be available to flex up to cover more or longer shifts in the absence of our other drivers.Position SummaryTo complete assigned deliveries and pick-up merchandise and assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities by performing the following duties.Essential Job FunctionsOperates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.Picks up medications, supplies and equipment from warehouse.Delivers medications, supplies and equipment to customers in a timely manner.Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer delivery ticket.Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management.Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.Returns signed delivery ticket to the office and scans it into the Electronic Medical Record.Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times.Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves, disposing of cardboard in appropriate receptacle.Assists pharmacy in pulling supplies and DME correctly and timely.Fills delivery orders by obtaining the required supplies and completing appropriate paperwork.Provides customer with a copy of the delivery ticket for deliveries and/or equipment pick up form for merchandise to be picked up.Assists with packing and printing labels for shipping.Performs other related duties as assigned.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice to meet organizational needs.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.May provide informal guidance or mentorship to new drivers or support staff as needed.Required Education, Licensure & ExperienceAll requirements below are job-related and consistent with business necessity.High school graduate or general education degree (GED).Prior work-related experience in delivery, logistics, or healthcare setting.Preferred Education & ExperiencePreferred qualifications are not required but are job-related and consistent with business necessity.Some college coursework or vocational training in logistics, healthcare, or related field.Experience in healthcare delivery or pharmacy services, including home infusion or medical supply delivery.Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.Prior experience with route planning, delivery tracking software, or electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Customer service experience in a healthcare or clinical environment.Experience handling and transporting temperature-sensitive medications or medical equipment.Core CompetenciesSafe and professional operation of delivery vehicles.Accuracy and attention to detail in deliveries and documentation.Time management and punctuality.Effective communication with customers, providers, and team members.Organization and workplace cleanliness.Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions safely.Customer service and interpersonal skills.Teamwork and collaboration with pharmacy and operations staff.Physical DemandsFor physical demands of position, including vision, hearing, repetitive motion and environment, see the following description.
