Delivery Driver

Location: Ann Arbor, MI | Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

About the Role

A leading provider of musical instruments and services is seeking a courteous, dependable, and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll use a company-provided vehicle to transport musical instruments and supplies to schools, educators, and customers throughout Michigan. If you enjoy being on the road, engaging with people, and working behind the scenes to support music education, this position is for you. You’ll interact directly with educators and staff, so strong communication skills and professionalism are key. This position also requires accurate data entry of deliveries into our internal system.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle to complete deliveries and pickups of musical instruments and related equipment.

• Drive safely and professionally across local and regional routes throughout Michigan.

• Load and unload equipment with care, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage.

• Accurately document deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and related data in internal tracking systems.

• Communicate courteously with school music educators, administrative staff, and individual customers.

• Assist with inventory, showroom, and warehouse tasks as needed

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and rental returns, ensuring quality standards are met

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (background check required)

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Customer service experience required

• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred

• Forklift experience/certification is a plus

• Basic familiarity with musical instruments is strongly preferred
