We are seeking a dependable part-time Delivery Driver at our Ankeny Medicap location to pick up and deliver prescriptions, durable medical equipment (DME), bank deposits, mail, paperwork, and miscellaneous items.

Offering a highly competitive pay rate commensurate with experience. This role involves no nights, Sundays, or holidays, with some flexibility in scheduling. Benefits include a 401k with company match, employee discounts, and other perks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescriptions, OTC items, paperwork, and other supplies to patients, including DME supplies as deemed complete by the pharmacist.
• Communicate effectively with the store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Help maintain a clean, professional, and friendly work environment.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collect payments, signatures, and materials from patients.
• Transport items between GRX Holdings stores.
• Perform clerical duties such as banking, mail delivery, and gift delivery.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent, or up to one month of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good automobile insurance standing.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent navigation skills and a clean driving record.
• Neat appearance and effective public interaction skills.

Note: Delivery Drivers must register with the state Board of Pharmacy for identification and tracking purposes. Registration must be renewed every two years without requiring continuing education.
