Job summary

Algas-SDI, based in Kent, WA, seeks a dependable Driver/Crater to join our Supply Chain team. This hands-on role combines local delivery driving, crate building, shipment preparation, and warehouse support in a non-CDL truck environment.

You will work on-site, ensure loads are secured, coordinate with production and shipping, and maintain a clean truck while following DOT safety policies. Prior forklift exposure is a plus; training is available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver'''s license and clean driving record.
• Experience operating a non-CDL flatbed or similar vehicle.
• Knowledge of safe load-securement practices.
• Willingness to learn crate building, product crating, and shipment preparation.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a non-CDL flatbed truck for local deliveries.
• Build crates and prepare products for shipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify materials and delivery information.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Production, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
• Support warehouse and yard operations when not delivering.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when trained.
• Follow DOT requirements and safety policies.
