Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Delivery Coordinator Supervisor to lead the delivery coordination team, ensuring on-time product delivery and clear status updates across plant operations, scheduling, warehouse, CSR, and quality.

You will hire, train, and mentor staff, remove bottlenecks, coordinate with Master Schedulers and Materials Managers, and drive lean practices to maintain flow and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct internal and external customer orders through the manufacturing process.
• Respond to delivery or product inquiries with plant operations, scheduling, planning, warehouse, shipping, CSR and quality teams.
• Track and update recovery plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Hire, train, mentor, and schedule delivery coordinator personnel.
• Lead meetings and calls within and outside the company.
• Identify obstacles, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
• Work with site operations to maintain workflow, priorities, and stock management.
• Collaborate with Master Schedulers, Materials Managers, and Central Planning Manager.
• Communicate status updates clearly to customers.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to ensure timely production flow.

They ensure timely delivery of products, communicate statuses and delivery plans.**ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Coordinate and direct internal and externals customer orders through the manufacturing process.* Respond to delivery related or product related inquiries as needed. This includes direct communication with plant operations, scheduling, planning, warehouse, shipping, CSR team and quality.* Track and update recovery plans for the facility.* Work with the delivery coordinator team to maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely completion (horse blankets, LOB, etc.), Communicate clear and timely status’ through tools to customers.* Hire, train, mentor, and schedule delivery coordinator personnel.* Lead and attend meetings and calls within and out of the company.* Constantly looking to identify obstacles early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed.* Work closely with site operations to ensure stable workflow of orders, priorities, and stock management (i.e., stagnant WIP, work order issues, holds). This includes direct communication with the Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager.* Work closely with scheduling, adhering to capacity and specific site limitations. With sites that have a master scheduler to ensure timely release and correct flow of production orders.* Work closely with CSR team to help with moving jobs* Update Horse blanket Past due + 4 weeks (need to eventually get out 8 weeks)* Responsible for putting jobs on hold, splitting and editing jobs, locating jobs pushing them through the facility.* Updating and distributing coverage files to other departments.* Identify critical parts and make sure they are identified on the shop floor.* Going out on the shop floor touching jobs and working with other departments to ensure jobs are moving.* Responsible for getting timelines for critical parts.* Identify bottlenecks and issues and bring them up to daily OBEYA.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES*** High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
