Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks a safety‑minded professional to load, transport and unload petroleum products to Sunoco and customer locations. The driver must uphold DOT regulations, safety standards and company policies, while performing required pre/post-trip inspections.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements, 18 months of verifiable driving experience, and compliance with FMCSA medical standards. Rotating shifts and location-based TWIC requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL with X endorsement (Tanker and Hazmat).
• Must pass a current DOT physical.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards.
• Must be willing to obtain TWIC card depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck.
• Safely transport the loaded vehicle to the assigned delivery point.
• Document activities in accordance with Federal DOT Regulations and Company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Work rotating or various shift schedules.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products at Sunoco and customer locations. The driver must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws.

Duties

• Be able to safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck
• Be able to safely transport loaded vehicle to assigned delivery point
• Be able to prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal D.O.T. Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures
• Be able to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
• Must be able to work rotating or various shift schedules
