Job summary

Sunoco is seeking an experienced CDL-A tanker/Hazmat driver to load, transport, and unload petroleum products with a strong commitment to safety and DOT compliance. You will operate according to DOT Regulations and Company Policies, completing required inspections and documentation.

The role requires 18 months of verifiable Class A driving, CDL with X endorsement, DOT physical, FMCSA medical certificate, and willingness to obtain a TWIC card as needed. Shifts may rotate.

Qualifications

• 18 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• CDL with X endorsement (Tanker and Hazmat).
• Must pass a current DOT physical.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards.
• Must be willing to obtain TWIC card depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Be able to safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck.
• Be able to safely transport loaded vehicle to delivery point.
• Prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal DOT Regulations and Company Policies.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Work rotating or various shift schedules.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products at Sunoco and customer locations. The driver must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws.

Duties:
