Job summary

RSM US LLP in Chicago, IL is seeking a Delivery Assurance Manager to provide independent project oversight and guide risk mitigation across complex engagements. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engagement Leaders, and Client teams to ensure project status, financials, and solution health are clearly communicated and addressed.

The role requires a strong background in IT and digital transformation, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or accounting.
• 7-10 years of related work experience as a Program or Project Manager on complex engagements.
• Experience leading at least one complex project, ideally 9+ months in length.
• Broad IT expertise and/or business-led digital transformation including ERP systems, governance/management and internal controls.
• Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills.
• Strong writing, research and analytical skills.
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership and the ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent and objective project oversight.
• Guide project teams to understand project status, solution health and readiness.
• Conduct monthly project review meetings with PMs and Engagement Leaders and update dashboards.
• Review SOWs, weekly status reports and project execution metrics to assess project status.
• Assist with architecting and building out processes and leveraging newer digital technologies to improve the DA function.
