Job summary

GTGS Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner serving Arizona, is hiring delivery drivers for Chandler, AZ. You will deliver packages to Amazon customers, operate a company vehicle, and maintain safety and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, independent, and able to work 10-hour shifts. Weekend availability and adherence to schedules are required; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages on time and safely.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on the company vehicle.
• Follow all local and state laws, road regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Load and unload packages and handle heavy items as required.
• Communicate with support team and use phone/GPS tools.

This is aDriverposition with GTGS Logistics LLC delivering packages to Amazon customers! GTGS Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner.

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related)driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• As we grow, supervisory roles will be available.

BENEFITS & SCHEDULING:

• $23.50/HOUR!! PAID WEEKLY!! ***Job Location is in Chandler, AZ***
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• Part-time schedules are typically 2-3 days per week and are based on operational needs
• Additional days/hours maybe available based on business needs throughoutPeak season
• Weekend availability is required; schedules may include Saturday and/or Sunday
• Schedules are published weekly
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minutebreaksduring your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Qualifications

• Must beat least 21 years old
• Must hold anon-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a4-Panel Drug Screening(which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a satisfactorymotor vehicle report(multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing /communicationskills
