Rainforest Runners, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, seeks a reliable delivery driver to operate a company-provided vehicle and deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial customers. This role emphasizes time management, safety, and an exceptional customer experience.

You will navigate routes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and work with dispatch to resolve delays while upholding all policies and DOT regulations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required by company policy).
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable walking, climbing stairs, and entering/exiting a delivery vehicle throughout the day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance expectations.
• Previous delivery, courier, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van while following all traffic laws and Amazon safety standards.
• Load, organize, and deliver packages efficiently to homes and businesses.
• Navigate delivery routes using GPS and Amazon delivery technology.
• Complete deliveries accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery.
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, route issues, or delays.
• Follow all company policies, DOT regulations (where applicable), and Amazon operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure delivery vehicle.
• Work in varying weather conditions and safely lift, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
