Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services Inc. seeks a delivery driver to responsibly operate company vehicles and deliver prescriptions to patients and agents. You will prepare items for delivery, log paperwork accurately, and plan routes to minimize travel while ensuring on-time arrivals.

You must greet customers professionally, maintain vehicle maintenance, and stay compliant with state and federal requirements. High school diploma or GED and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or in progress.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to compute basic math and maintain accuracy in paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Comply with state and federal laws governing vehicle operation and prescription deliveries.
• Package and prepare items for facility delivery and insure timely routes.
• Schedule delivery routes for efficiency and minimal travel.
• Complete paperwork and filing accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Greet customers professionally and provide strong customer service.
• Pick up medications and supplies from other facilities.
• Stay current with employment regulations and complete mandatory training.

Job Duties:Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicleMust comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agentAccurately package and prepare items for facility deliverySchedule delivery route in most efficient manner to insure timely delivery with least travel requiredResponsible for completion of all paperwork and proper filingInsure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exteriorGreet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as neededPick up medications and/or supplies from other facilitiesMust keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employmentResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsRequired to read and sign the Fleet Management PolicyPerform other duties as assignedJob Skills Required:Basic Math skills necessaryStrong communication skillsOutstanding customer service skillsRequires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk throughout the duration of the shiftLimited lifting up to 40 lbsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening testEducation:Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GEDJob requirements:Must be 21 years of age or olderMust possess a valid Drivers License in good standing
