Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Delivery Assistant to join during the busy holiday season. You will accompany skilled Agents to customers’ homes to assist with delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of electronics. The role supports the team with integration tasks and may require independent work or in a two-person commitment.

You’ll help with inventory and vehicle maintenance, process paperwork, and provide product placement advice, delivering a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds with a team using assistive tools.
• Experience with basic appliance installation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a two-person team.
• Provide guidance on product placement and services to customers.

Job description

As a Delivery Assistant, you’ll join us during our busy holiday season to accompany a team of seasoned Agents to customers’ homes. In this role, you’ll assist with the delivery, installation, repair and haul‑away of electronic devices. You’ll also support your team by performing duties such as integration and networking. Internally, this role is known as Delivery Support Associate.

What you’ll do

• Perform basic appliance installation
• Help ensure installed appliances are damage‑free, accurately installed and fully functioning
• Provide a seamless client experience by advising on product placement and giving recommendations regarding products, services and content
• Work independently or as part of a two‑person team
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other Agents
• Process paperwork and payments
• Must be at least 18 years
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds as a team with the use of support tools such as a harness, dolly or lift with or without reasonable accommodation
