Gabriel Group in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Delivery and Yard Technician to help transport materials, operate yard equipment, and support daily yard operations. The role involves keeping the yard organized, loading materials, and assisting with project work on site.

Applicants should have 3+ years in landscaping or yard operations, experience with heavy equipment, and a valid CDL. The position offers a full benefits package and a collaborative, outdoors-friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in landscaping, construction, or yard operations.
• 3+ years’ operating heavy equipment (skid loader, forklift, front loader).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving and criminal record.
• CDL is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full mobility in upper and lower body.

Reports to: Facility and Yard Operations Foreman

Works closely with : Managers, Crew Leaders, Project Admin, Directors

Direct Reports : none

Typical Hours: M-F , opening or closing shift, some Saturdays . Seasonal OT and snow operations hours as needed.

Dress Code: U niform

Summary

Summary: The Delivery and Yard Technician is responsible for transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites while supporting the daily operations of the SVL yard and facility. This role ensures crews receive the materials and equipment they need to operate efficiently . When not performing deliveries, the technician loads crews, stages materials, and supports the daily operations of the supply yard.
