Job summary

Ricoh USA, Inc. is seeking a Delivery & Set Up Driver in Hayward, CA to safely relocate and deliver office equipment. You will ensure DOT compliance, complete accurate delivery paperwork, and support a smooth handover to customers with basic networking/setup tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and training in networking and installation. A valid license and familiarity with maps/GPS are essential to perform efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Safe driving record with a minimum of two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
• On-the-job technical training in networking and installation.
• Valid driver's license, along with eligibility to drive commercial vehicles according to FMCSR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver equipment to the designated location, maintaining adherence to DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip reviews to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness, while minimizing costs through efficient pick-up and delivery practices.
• Provide basic training and networking installations, fostering a seamless transition for our customers.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as field technicians and dispatch, to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure all paperwork, including delivery documentation and customer signatures, is accurately completed and processed in a timely manner, maintaining thorough records of transactions.
