Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven collections experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of collection laws and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and core banking software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Delinquency management and follow-up on late loan accounts.
• Contact high-balance or overdue accounts to arrange repayment plans.
• Notify co-signers and maintain communication throughout delinquency.
• Handle legal processes related to repossession, bankruptcy, and settlements.
• File claims, attend court hearings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare management reports.
• Coordinate repossession and FPI related activities.
• Provide respectful member engagement and support during delinquency.
• Research payroll deductions and escalate actions when needed.
