Job summary

Meijer, a family‑oriented retailer in Michigan, is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll engage customers, share product details, keep displays appealing, and support across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You’ll use store technology, follow safety standards, and contribute to a fast‑paced, active environment where helping families is the goal.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
