Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member for our Frazer store to handle and prepare deli products, weigh and wrap items, and stock shelves with care. You will ensure accurate labeling and pricing and provide friendly service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will deliver quality customer service, answer questions, and promote products while maintaining clean displays and proper cooler conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service is an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, to include stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, answer questions, make recommendations, and promote products.
• Must dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Must complete ELM training courses as they are added.
