Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk in Spokane to prepare fresh deli items and deliver a welcoming customer experience. You will assist customers in selecting meats, cheeses, and prepared foods while maintaining friendly, efficient service.

The role also involves stocking displays, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring product freshness and proper temperature control in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Preparing hot and cold deli items, slicing meats and assembling grab‑and‑go options
• Keep the department stocked, clean, and organized throughout the day
• Monitor product freshness and temperature and ensure accurate labeling and pricing
