Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Edgebrook, NJ, is hiring for a deli associate. You will slice, weigh, and package deli items, assist members, and prepare special orders. Maintain display cases, stock, and ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced deli environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and answer questions.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate deli shipments and ensure freshness.
• Display and stock deli items and maintain cleanliness of the area.
• Operate deli equipment following safety policies and ensure proper calibration of scales.
