Job summary

Refuel is seeking a Deli Team Member to deliver friendly service, prepare fresh food, and maintain a clean, safe deli area. You will follow brand standards, support efficient deli operations, and interact with guests to ensure a welcoming experience.

The role offers on-site work with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Prior retail/food service experience is valued; on-the-job training is provided and safety certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• On-the-job training provided for all new team members.
• Must maintain required food handler or safety certification.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary food prep and service area.
• Follow all food safety, handling, and cash-handling procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and display products to ensure freshness and appeal.

Job Summary: The Deli Team Member plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service area. This position is responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality food, ensuring all products meet Refuel brand standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of deli operations. Deli Team Members represent the Refuel brand through friendly interactions, attention to detail, and consistent execution of food safety and quality standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, prompt service while preparing food per recipes and brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary food prep and service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:

• Honest, dependable, and willing to learn new tasks and take initiative.

Education and Experience:

An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.

Working environment and physical requirements:

• Maintain required food handler or safety certification.
• Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
• Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
• Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
• Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to10%
