Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Manitowoc, WI, is hiring a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming store experience across Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help shoppers find what they need.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products to standards; follow safety and sanitation procedures; and work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to be physically active and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product knowledge and finding items.
• Maintain fresh, attractive displays and stock shelves.
• Rotate and merchandise products to company standards.
• Use store technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
