Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to join our store team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and help shoppers locate items while maintaining fresh, attractive displays and accurate merchandising across departments.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, and using store technology, following food safety standards, and collaborating with Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery teams to keep operations smooth and customers

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and ability to connect with shoppers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfort with physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous retail or food service experience helpful but not required.
