Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is looking for a friendly, energetic deli team member to deliver excellent customer service and assist with deli counter operations in our Oregon stores. You will greet customers, respond to requests, and help with slicing, packing, and pricing deli items.

Applicants should have food safety awareness, be able to lift items, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior deli or food prep experience is preferred, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stay energetic and helpful during busy shifts.
• Food safety procedures knowledge or training.

Responsibilities

• Create an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
• Greet customers as they enter and assist with deli needs.
• Listen to customers to understand their needs and offer deli items.
• Prepare, weigh, slice, package, and price deli items.
• Handle special orders and party trays as needed.
• Update displays and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Ensure displays and products meet company standards and safety rules.
