Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily activities of employees to ensure efficiency and timely customer service.
• Supervise employees in various duties such as serving, packaging, and operating counters.
• Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages.
• Completing grab-n-go prep lists.
• Track product inventory and communicate needs for kitchen prep via nightly recap.
• Assign work for deli team on daily basis.
• Provide training to staff on company policies, sales and safety guidelines.
• Ensure employees follow company policies and store rules.
• Ensure that products are properly labeled with prices and dates.
• Interact politely with customers while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation.
• Operate all food preparation machines and equipment.
• Receive, unload and stock the food items.
• Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe.

Requirements:

Food service industry experience is preferred. Training will be provided; we encourage willingness to learn new skills. Candidate needs to be versatile, self-directed and able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to an eight hour shift.

This position is full-time and includes nights (1:30pm - 9:30pm) and weekend shifts; pay commensurate with experience.
