Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Part Time Deli Clerk to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products while delivering friendly service to Members. You’ll stock displays, assist with special orders, and keep the deli clean and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and answer questions.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Assist Members with special orders and samples.
• Receive, inspect, rotate and stock deli items per safety policies.
• Maintain clean, organized deli display cases and equipment.
• Ensure pricing and displays are accurate and attractive.
