Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members to manage and possess knowledge of all deli products, including weighing, wrapping, slicing, labeling, and stocking, while delivering friendly customer service.

Team members are expected to maintain clean, safe work areas, follow all safety rules, and complete required trainings to support store operations and community service across PA, MD, VA, WV, and NJ.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to understand and follow safety regulations.
• Willingness to learn to operate store equipment.
• Must meet ergonomic/physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as part of every GIANT/MARTIN'S store role.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions; stock and rotate product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions; code, rotate, and clean cases of product.
• Keep prep areas clean and sanitary; follow food safety practices.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area.
• Keep sales floor neat and safe; respond to customer questions and promote products.
