Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member for our Mechanicsburg location. You will handle and possess knowledge of all deli products, assist customers, and stock shelves with proper displays.

You will also wrap, weigh, and label products while maintaining a clean, organized deli area in compliance with safety standards. You will perform duties such as receiving and processing items, maintaining cooler conditions, and ensuring proper hygiene.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to understand and follow company policies and safety regulations
• Able to meet ergonomic and physical requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to customers, co-workers, vendors and business associates.
• Receive, process, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case and display conditions, including stocking and rotation.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions and food handling procedures.
• Keep prep areas clean and sanitized and equipment maintained.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local deli regulations.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions.
• Offer friendly service and promote products through upselling.
• Dress according to policy and maintain neat appearance.
• Complete required ELM training as added to the learning page.
