Job summary

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as part of GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions; stock, clean, straighten, rotate product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, code, rotate, organize cases weighing >20 lbs and up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain prep area cleanliness and sanitation; clean surfaces, utensils, equipment.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Keep sales floor safe and clean; sweep and mop.
• Offer friendly, courteous customer service; answer questions and suggest products.
• Dress per company policy; maintain neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as added.
