Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is hiring for a deli position. You will slice, package, weigh, and display deli items, assist Members, and ensure clean, safe working conditions in the deli department. The role supports club policies and provides excellent member service daily.

Position requires at least 18 years of age and experience with deli products; training on slicers and scales is provided. This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members. Answer questions and make recommendations on deli items.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays.
• Receive, inspect, display, stock, rotate and store deli products following food safety policies.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; remove out-of-date items daily.
• Maintain clean deli equipment and surfaces; operate scales and deli equipment safely.
• Contribute to a friendly, safe, and positive member experience.
