Job summary

Kowalski’s Deli in Minnesota is seeking a motivated team member to join the deli department on site. You will assist with meat and cheese case, hot foods, and salad display, slice meats and cheeses to Kowalski’s standards, and help provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You will greet customers, answer questions, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation. Regular shifts require punctuality, full uniform, and adherence to food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry 70 pounds with proper technique.
• Push/pull heavy loads as part of daily tasks.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent social skills and verbal interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with deli products.
• Slice meats and cheeses to Kowalski’s standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of deli areas.
• Process orders, manage labeling and price, record shrink.
• Assist with catering orders and training new employees.
