Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, freshness, and appealing presentation. You will support inventory accuracy and rotations, contributing to an exceptional guest experience and adherence to food safety standards.

You'll work closely with department leadership to manage ordering, replenishment, and promotions, while engaging guests with a friendly, helpful attitude on the shop floor. This role requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
