Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Mays Landing, New Jersey, is seeking a Deli Associate to slice, weigh, package, and display deli items while delivering exceptional member service. Applicants should be at least 18 years old with prior deli experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service to Members and answer questions.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products, and assist with special orders.
• Receive, inspect, stock, rotate, and display deli items.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for out-of-date products.
• Maintain cleanliness of deli area and equipment; operate deli equipment safely.
• Assist with general department duties as needed.
