Job summary

Food City is seeking a Service Deli Supervisor to lead, train, and develop a team of Service Deli associates. You will supervise daily operations, ensure customer-friendly service, and drive sales and profitability.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performance reviews input, maintaining inventory and pricing, enforcing safety and HAACP, and keeping the department clean and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• On-site work required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to attend scheduled shifts per attendance policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide courteous service to Food City shoppers.
• Supervise, train, and develop Service Deli associates.
• Manage Service Deli associates to maximize sales and profitability.
• Input to performance reviews for Service Deli associates.
• Merchandise Service Deli cases.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of Service Deli and related merchandise.
• Maintain proper pricing of all products.
• Enforce safety policies and HAACP programs.
• Maintain a clean department according to company standards.
• Set and maintain the planogram for the deli area.
• Report equipment maintenance issues promptly.
• Additional duties as needed.
