Job summary

You will greet customers, help locate items, slice/prepare/weight products, handle multiple orders, support the service counter, and uphold cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli or food service is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.
• Deli Service Case Associate training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with locating and selecting products.
• Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service and offer solutions meeting customer expectations.
• Slice, cut, prepare, weigh and package products to established standards.
• Prepare multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining service and quality.
• Support and assist the Service Counter and uphold product quality standards.
• Achieve productivity targets as outlined in management plans.
• Develop product knowledge across department areas.
• Perform assigned cleaning functions according to policy.
• Assist in training other associates and perform other duties as needed.
