Job summary

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot/cold foods (meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, pizza).
• Sample products to customers.
• Stock and rotate cases with prepared foods.
• Check in-stock dates and freshness; rotate as needed.
• Assist with organization of display items and inventory.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and utilize suggestive selling; answer phones courteously.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising procedures.
• Follow sanitation, Weights and Measures, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work/shopping environment; keep equipment clean.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
