Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member for Prepared Foods to provide friendly, efficient service while preparing and stocking hot and cold foods. You will engage with customers, maintain cleanliness, and support team goals in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include food prep, product sampling, inventory support, and adherence to health and safety standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a proactive approach to selling and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates for freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and ready to work with required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains clean and safe working and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
