Job summary

Brock & Company Inc. seeks a motivated Deli Associate for a full-time weekday role in our on-site kitchen serving a private school cafeteria. You will prep sandwiches, paninis and wraps, and support catering orders with a focus on quality and guest experience.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7am–1:30pm with benefits eligible. You will work in a fast-paced deli station, maintain product standardization, and collaborate with a team dedicated to food quality and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli or food service preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Knife skills and experience with slicers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and break down the deli station; prepare, stock, label and date all products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow health and safety regulations.
• Stand for extended periods of time and move objects up to 35 lbs.
• Assemble, operate and disassemble meat and cheese slicers; use related utensils and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service for cafe service and catering orders.

We are looking for a motivated multi-tasker who enjoys customer service to handle this high volume fast-paced station. This station will provide made to order sandwiches, paninis and wraps for café service as well as the same for all catering orders.

• - The Deli Associate will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and breakdown of the station and will prepare, stock, label and date all products for the station.
• - The hired candidate will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
• - Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• - Have the ability to move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• - Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• - The right candidate will have experience with the assembly, operation and disassembly of the meat and cheese slicers, knife skills, familiarity with related utensils and equipment including food processor and robocoupe. Lastly, the above shall be achieved while providing exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.
