Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Deli Manager to oversee all deli department operations in a fast-paced retail/warehouse setting. You will ensure food safety, manage inventory, and lead a team to deliver high-quality products to customers.

The role focuses on maintaining freshness, optimizing displays, and driving sales while adhering to company standards and audit requirements. Strong leadership and food-safety knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in deli, food service, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
• Maintain accurate inventory through stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels
• Ensure deli products handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards
• Monitor product quality and freshness, removing unsellable items
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily retail or warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
