Responsibilities

• Lead the deli service operations of the Deli/Bakery department and support budgeted financial and sales goals.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of Food Lion strategy.
• Maintain communications with the management team and store associates.
• Provide fast, easy, friendly customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Receive and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform department functions to meet production and customer service guidelines.
• Ensure department appearance, quality, safety, and food safety standards.
• Assist in growing sales through effective merchandising strategies.
• Supervise and train Deli/Bakery associates as directed by management.
• Use company tools like ACIS, scheduling, and business information systems; maintain records.
