Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to provide friendly, efficient service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? We will teach you and welcome new team members with a supportive environment.

You will prepare deli offerings, assist with cleaning duties, and participate in cross-training across departments while ensuring food safety and quality throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• No experience? We will teach you!
• Daily deli duties and customer interactions
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds
• Follow company policies and food safety rules
• Cross-train in other store roles

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli products per guides: salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfaits, etc.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Maintenance.
• Handle temperatures as required during shifts
