Job Title: Kitchen Production Clerk - AM

Reports to: Deli Department Manager

Festival Foods aims to make mealtime easier and more enjoyable for our guests. As a Kitchen Production Clerk, you will play a key role in creating outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high food quality standards, ensuring product freshness, monitoring inventory, and assisting with meal orders, all within a clean and food-safe environment. This role is ideal for those passionate about food production, quality control, and excellent service, seeking to develop their skills in a team setting.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences: Recognize and respond to guest needs, providing excellent service.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, and replenish deli products, maintaining proper temperatures.
  • Fulfill Guest Orders: Prepare and assemble meal trays and special orders following recipes and procedures.
  • Maintain Freshness and Accuracy: Monitor product dates, freshness, and shrinkage, ensuring proper labeling.
  • Support Cleanliness and Safety: Keep work areas organized, clean, sanitized, and maintain food safety logs.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Food Safety Certification: Willing to become certified, with knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling.
  • Team-Oriented Attitude: Ability to work cooperatively and foster a positive team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in product handling, rotation, and following recipes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Resolve guest concerns tactfully and efficiently.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Adjust to changing needs and tasks proactively.
  • Knowledge of Food Production: Understanding of kitchen operations and handling of perishable items.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks to meet production and quality goals.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Standing for long periods, bending, stooping, kneeling.
  • Full upper body motion.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.

Work Schedule:

Varies, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
