As a Kitchen Production Clerk, you will play a key role in creating outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high food quality standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring product freshness, monitoring inventory, assisting in preparing custom meal orders, and supporting a clean and food-safe environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences: Create engaging, memorable experiences by recognizing and reacting to guests’ needs and providing excellent service.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Maintain high standards by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing deli products, ensuring proper temperatures are met for all items on display.
  • Fulfill Guest Orders: Take and execute special orders, including preparation and assembly of meal trays and step-by-step dinners, following recipes and tray building procedures.
  • Maintain Freshness and Accuracy: Monitor product dates, freshness, and shrinkage, ensuring all products are dated and initialed appropriately.
  • Support Cleanliness and Safety: Contribute to overall cleanliness by organizing, cleaning, and sanitizing work areas, shelves, and sales floors as needed. Maintain food safety logs per company policies.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Food Safety Certification: Must be or willing to become food safe certified; understanding of safety protocols and equipment handling such as slicers, mixers, and ovens.
  • Team-Oriented Attitude: Ability to work cooperatively, fostering a positive team environment to achieve goals and provide exceptional service.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality and accuracy in product rotation, inventory, and following recipes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address guest concerns tactfully and efficiently.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities within the kitchen.
  • Knowledge of Food Production: Understanding of perishable department operations and handling kitchen-made items to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet production and quality goals.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
