Job summary

Foodie's Corner in Liberty Hill, TX is seeking a Kitchen / Kitchen Member to prepare and serve fresh items. You will work in a fast-paced setting, following recipes and safety standards while assisting customers at the counter and keeping the area clean and organized.

The role requires standing for long periods, teamwork, and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training will be provided for those new to the food service industry.

Qualifications

• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen items including sandwiches, hot foods, salads, and other menu offerings to order and in advance.
• Follow all recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards consistently.
• Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, grills, fryers, ovens, and warmers safely and correctly.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and complete required temperature logs throughout the shift.
• Label, date, and properly store all food items following FIFO rotation.
• Keep the kitchen counter, prep area, and kitchen clean and organized at all times.
• Assist customers at the kitchen counter, take orders, and answer questions about menu items.
• Restock kitchen displays, grab-and-go cases, and hot food sections as needed.
• Notify the Kitchen/Kitchen Manager of low inventory, equipment issues, or food quality concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with receiving and storing food kitchen verifications as directed.
• Complete assigned opening, mid-shift, and closing cleaning and prep duties.
• Support other store departments during slow periods or as requested by management.

Position Summary

Kitchen Workers at Foodies Corner are passionate about great food and excellent service. This role is responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality kitchen items while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.

Requirements

• Prior food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required - we will train!
