Whether you have experience in fast food, as a line cook, or in a deli or restaurant setting, or no experience but a willingness to learn, we’d love to talk with you about the Deli Hot Bar Cook opportunity at Festival Foods. In this role, you'll help enhance breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences for our guests.

Our hot bar offers guests quick, satisfying options. As a Hot Bar Cook, you'll prepare a variety of menu items, from crispy fried chicken and fried fish to mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and potato wedges, ensuring quality and flavor that our guests love.

External Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, and handle concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests find items, provide recommendations, and enhance their shopping experience.
• Service Excellence: Ensure guest needs are met with a helpful attitude.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fulfill guest orders efficiently, following schedules.
• Hot Bar Display: Maintain attractive and high-quality food displays, adhering to protocols.
• Temperature & Quality Control: Monitor food temperatures and maintain logs for safety and quality.
• Efficiency & Organization: Organize, stock, clean, and label the hot bar for readiness.
• Guest Concerns: Address and resolve guest issues positively.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience & Skills: Good communication skills, experience in food service preferred.
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Food Knowledge: Familiarity with perishable foods and fast-paced environments.
• Technical Skills: Ability to handle kitchen equipment and work under pressure.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Ability to work quickly in changing temperatures.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

This hourly position may be part-time or full-time, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
