Reports To: Deli Department Manager

Whether you have experience in fast food, as a line cook, or in a deli or restaurant setting, or no experience but a willingness to learn, we’d love to talk with you. In this role, you'll enhance breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences for our guests.
At Festival Foods, we aim to make mealtime easier and more enjoyable. Our hot bar offers a variety of menu items like crispy fried chicken, fried fish, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and potato wedges. Your culinary skills will help us deliver quality and flavor.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, and address concerns professionally. Your helpful attitude will positively impact their experience.
- Offer Assistance: Help guests find items and provide deli recommendations.
- Service Excellence: Ensure guest needs are met with a helpful attitude.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fulfill guest orders efficiently following production schedules.
- Hot Bar Display: Maintain attractive and high-quality hot bar items, adhering to protocols.
- Temperature & Quality Control: Monitor food temperatures and maintain logs for safety and quality.
- Efficiency & Organization: Organize, stock, and clean the hot bar area.
- Guest Concerns: Resolve guest issues positively.
- Attendance: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience & Skills: Good communication skills, ability to interact tactfully, and experience in food service preferred.
- Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Food Knowledge: Knowledge of perishable foods and ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with kitchen equipment and handling high-pressure situations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to work quickly in changing temperatures.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
Work Schedule:
This position offers part-time or full-time hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
