Job summary

The Fresh Market in Chicago is seeking team members to support multiple departments including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. You will help ensure product freshness, execute planograms, and assist with ordering and replenishment.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range ($19.17–$20.45) and a benefits package including retirement, paid time off, and wellness programs. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli items and other products meet freshness standards and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leaders on ordering and replenishment.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and proper receiving/storage.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotions.
• Follow all policies, food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
